Experience a day at Jesus Abbey firsthand. Visitors pray, work, and eat with the community. You are not booking accommodation — you are joining the daily rhythm of the community.
What to Prepare
Prepare Your Heart — Jesus Abbey is a quiet place. Put down your phone and become accustomed to silence.
What to Bring — Comfortable clothes, work clothes, toiletries, and a Bible. Winter gear is needed in cold months. The abbey is at 800m elevation.
Duration — We recommend at least 3 days / 2 nights. You need time to fully experience the rhythm of a day.
Getting Here
Address — 97 Oenamugol-gil, Taebaek-si, Gangwon Province, Korea
Public Transport — Seoul → Taebaek intercity bus (approx. 3.5 hours). Taxi from Taebaek bus terminal (approx. 20 min).
By Car — Approximately 3.5–4 hours from Seoul. Search for 'Jesus Abbey' in your navigation.
